M. D. Anderson's Thoracic Center offers consultation, diagnosis
and treatment of all chest cancers. Malignancies of the lung,
esophagus, trachea, chest wall, periocardium and pulmonary system
are managed by the Thoracic Center's specialized oncology teams.
Gene therapy and chemoprevention clinical trials are available to
eligible lung cancer patients. Innovative treatments include
photodynamic therapy for endobronchial tumors and 3D-conformal
radiotherapy.
